I truly love my job as a teacher. I am in my 19th year of teaching sixth grade. My career in teaching stems from having two parents as educators - my mother taught kindergarten and my father taught 7th-8th grade for 38 years. I have two sons, Brett and Aaron who are attending college at Fresno State. My baby is my dog, Bosco; he makes good company when I work in my yard! I enjoy being a crafty person. My latest project is learning how to watercolor.
About the class...
Mission For The Class: Where do I fit into my community? Where do I fit into my world?
This year we will begin implementing the new Common Core Standards throughout the curriculum. As we study about ancient civilizations in social studies we will also be learning and applying reading strategies that will help you become a more critical-thinking student.
