Dear 6th-Grade Ronald Reagan Elementary Mustang, Greetings! My name is Mrs. Owens and I am excited that you have been assigned to my sixth-grade classroom this coming year. I am expecting a great year together at Reagan Elementary. I look forward to meeting you on: Thursday, August 18th at 8:10 a.m. Reagan Elementary School - Room 304 There are several items that you should bring to school that will be necessary for a great organized year:
Reduced Prices: Breakfast 30¢ Lunch 40¢ *Please note: You can manage your lunch payments online with http://EZSchoolPay.com (See the District Web page for more information) Other Helpful Information: Our day will end at 3:05 p.m. for 6th grade - Please make transportation arrangements. Pick up: Be careful where you arrange to be picked up. The best place is on Kern Street or Diane Avenue along the side of the 6th wing/library/5th wing.
Flex Day Wednesday will begin later in the year - August 31st. 6th grade students will be dismissed at 12:50 on flex days. On Thursday, August 18th, we are holding our annual Back-to-School Night for parents. Please put this on your calendar. The time is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sixth grade teachers will be presenting information at 6:35 for those parents with children in other classrooms. If you can't make it that evening, please let me know so we can arrange a time to meet. This is a time for parents to preview the room and get acquainted with me. I will go over curriculum, homework, Reagan discipline plan, and other important items. I look forward to meeting you!
